Hello,

I spent 10 years in the Army Reserve and resigned my commission in 1998 while at the rank of Captain. 

I never attended the officer advanced course for my branch of Infantry. At 49 years of age I'm thinking I might 

want to get back in the Army to receive some retirement benefits and pay.



What are my chances of returning and could it be done as a officer?

Well if the Reserves are anything like the National Guard.  Then yes. You can reenlist as an officer.  I beleive that you come back in at the rank you left as.  Then all you woud have to do is get Recommisioned.  Hope this helps, Sir.
