Your upbeat tone is a sign of hope for all of us that have soldiers in the 278th. I have only recently begun to read your BLOG so am not exactly sure exactly where you are in ther sandbox and how long you have been there. AS I have a soldier in the 278th..I'm guessing that you've been there since Novemberish...and that you will be getting married soon during your R & R time. Good for you...and I look forward to your next post. I am one of the folks that does best with more information so I'm a news and on-line information junky....As my soldier is not from Tenn. but attached to Tenn. there are not others around me to contact for support or to share thoughts, feelings, etc...I am flying solo on this journey and there are good and bad days just like for you guys over there. What sort of a job do you have with your unit? Is this something you can discuss or not? What are your weeks and routines like in general?
Well back to work here in civilian world, nothing as difficult as the things you all encounter but at least it helps me to stay busy and pass the time..hard to find reason to go on otherwise...just going through the motions of life while my TRUE life is on hold for a year. But I'm an eternal optimist and remain hopeful that this will all be over soon and all of our troops will be home safe and sound. I am sorry for the recent loss your group has suffered, that must be one of the most difficult things to deal with but at the same time bring the reality of war and your missions front and center. Your group replaced my husband's unit (from reading this site I'm pretty sure.) I just wanted to tell you that we are all praying for you and all the soldier's there. You are not forgotten. My husband's and my life has returned to a more normal routine since he's returned back to the states, but with the news of that one soldier losing his life, well, let me just say, he doesn't sleep well some nights since he heard. He really thought alot of that man and they had plans to get together when he got back to do some hunting and fishing together. Anyway, I just wanted to "reach out" to you and say Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Our daughter is getting married on April 9th. We'll be thinking of you. May God Bless You All!

Ryan...never forget you and all the soldiers are foremost in our hearts and minds every day, and I send heartfelt condolences about the loss of the soldier...to the troops and his dear family. His sacrifice will always be remembered with gratitude.
We got your great big, six-page letter at the newsroom yesterday, and it's circulating through the students, staff and faculty.

Had the pleasure of meeting your Mom and sister yesterday evening...along with Christy's grandmothers, aunt, cousins, her Mom and best friends. What an outstanding group of people!!

I cannot imagine what life is like for you. It's weird to go about everyday life knowing you men and women are out their facing the trials that you face.

I can't wait till you are all home. Thank you for your work. I truly hope this country and it's citizens at least try to understand the incredible challenges you face for us all.

I have no clue about 2-325th. I've never heard of them. Your best bet would be to google them and see if they have a home page. You'd probably find out the info there.
