Hey everybody,

Sorry for no posts as of late. I've been really really busy. We are here, and we are in full force now. I already have lots of war stories to tell, such as the night my butthole puckered to the size of a dime being lost in Tuz. It's a long story I can't get into here, but it's one worth telling to everyone someday.

Life is going ok for our guys. We know our areas we'll be working in and the jobs at hand. It's just a point where we are working out all of the kinks for the long run.

I'm doing pretty good, just missing not being at home. Christmas this year was especially hard; it was the first one I've spent away from my family. I spent it like almost any other day, doing work on my humvee and taking care of other work-related issues. We had a really good Christmas dinner, almost every kind of meat that you could ask for. I stuffed myself like I do every Christmas.

I treated myself in buying a rug for my room and making a few calls home. Today we also got satellite TV in our room, but kind of got ripped off in the process, but we are going to get that taken care of.

I know many of you have asked about mail, and I am happy to say that I have received two packages so far from Jane. They had Christmas candy and chips in them. We aren't getting a steady flow of packages and letters in yet, but hopefully they'll get the kinks worked out soon.

Also, we bought a hot plate, a tea pot, and we are going to buy a stove soon. So I can use any kind of food items that you can make with hot water.

I know that wasn't the most exciting post I've made, but I'm running on fumes right now. It's going to be a very very busy year.
