My whole life I've been deprived of the simple everyday things other youths have taken for granted. After high school I got accepted to every university I applied to, Harvard, MIT, etc. but instead went to a private university within my city to play soccer...what was I thinking?! Now, I'm engaged, a year away from a degree in Computer Science, and have a beautiful one-year old daughter. I've decided enough is enough, I can't take it anymore, I need out of this revolving door. It's nonstop, and I can feel the unhappiness sinking into our relationship. So, I've come to the conclusion, I'm enlisting. At first, I was considering the Air Force, but I have $37,000 in student loans that need to be paid off, and I can choose my MOS in the army, intelligence analyst, which I hope to go to the FBI after my 4 years. Now, I'm simply trying to get all the info I can about what I'm getting myself into. I'm trying not to imagine what it willb elike bcuz I'd rather not let myself down. So if anyone has any words of wisdom, or anything else they wouldn't mind sharing, I'm all ears...
