Email from the army SGM in charge of AR 670-1
The reply to an email sent to them about whether or not we're supposed to be able to wear the IRR patch.
One line reply....
"Per AR 670-1, IRR soldiers will wear the IRR shoulder sleeve insignia."
So what are our glorious leaders doing? Giving us the option to wear the Kentucky national guard's patch, because apparently our company is no longer D 1/125, but B 2/123 Armor.
When they whined and said we couldn't wear the IRR patch, the supposed reason was that we were "attached to a brigade or larger element."
Well, so are these rednecks. Why do they get to wear their patch and we can't? And furthermore, how does a FA battery from minnesota magically "become" an armor company from kentucky.
