Promotions, etc.
I still haven't been able to sleep tonight. Still can't quite believe that I'm getting called up.
Anyways, my OMPF erroneously says that I haven't had a proper DODMERB physical since 1999. But, when I separated from the Army, I got a commissioning physical for the ROTC program, so therefore someone screwed up.
In order to get orders (hah) for my promotion to SGT, I need to get this squared away quick. As soon as the Air Force wakes up (haha!) I'll call them and see where this physical exam went.
SGT Fitzer. Scary fuckin thought. I mean, there's more money, but also a shitload more responsibility. Team leaders are responsible for the lives of the dudes they lead. That's heavy stuff.
UPDATE: a SGT from the Career manager's office told me that I can't be promoted until I get to Benning and stuff... good. One less thing to worry about for now.
